Who can attend?
Courses are available online to anyone who is interested in ministry with young people in the juvenile justice system (currently incarcerated, probation, parole, awaiting trial, or transitioning back into the community).
How much is tuition?
As you begin the courses, which are hosted here on the Udemy online learning platform, there is a one-time web access fee of $19.99. There is no additional charge for the certification program. College credit is available through Gordon College, and tuition rates apply. Email us here for information on course enrollment and tuition.
Where can I find your course schedule?

How do I receive academic credit or ministry certification?

Course Instructor
Dr. Scott Larson
Dr. Scott Larson is the Founder and President of Straight Ahead Ministries, Inc, a faith-based organization serving justice-involved youth in juvenile detention centers and in the community. As a thought leader in the field of juvenile justice ministry, Scott has developed Straight Ahead's innovative engagement model for leading transformational change, authored 13 books on working effectively with high-risk youth, and provided leadership training and resources for hundreds of teachers, social workers and juvenile justice workers.
Scott has a Master of Divinity degree and a doctorate in leadership development. He is also an adjunct professor at Gordon College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary's Center for Urban Ministerial Education.
